Power Supplies for amplifiers
If you have an active antenna (antenna that has a built-in amplifier) or you have a separate antenna amplifier outdoors, you will need a power supply. Power supply is situated inside and the power goes to antenna amplifier via the antenna cable.
Our power supply models names include the voltage and current:
- First number is the voltage that the power supply receives (230V mains power or 12V or 24V from battery).
- Second number after the > is the voltage that the power supply outputs to the amplifier (5V, 12V or 24V). This must be the same that your amplifier accepts.
- Third number is the current that the power supply can output to the amplifier (mA). This must be the same or bigger than your amplifier uses.
