Meters & Finders

Meters & Finders are used to point satellite or terrestrial TV antennas or to check the signal at different spots to locate problems. Some meters & finders are only for satellite (DVB-S2), terrestrial (DVB-T2) or cable (DVB-C) broadcasts and some are for all of these. Some have displays and some can even show TV channels on their screens.

Cheapest ones can only show signal strength and not so accurately. A bit pricier models can also show signal strenght and quality for individual channel frequencies (muxes, transponders) and the best ones can show much more detail and have better accuracy.
