Antenna Sockets
The antenna wall sockets are installed on the wall near the desired TV viewing locations.
The signals from antennas (terrestrial, radio & satellite) are first combined into 1 cable with a combiner and then this 1 cable is connected to the antenna wall socket back-side from below.
Different antenna wall socket models have different connections: TV, radio and/or satellite or even 2 satellite connections. If you have a satellite antenna, select the satellite version.
A through antenna wall socket means that there is an output connection on the back where you can connect another cable to the next antenna wall socket. If you don't need it, choose an end antenna wall socket.
You need a surface frame (plastic housing) if you install as a surface mounting afterwards. If you install flush-mounted inside the wall already during the construction phase, you do not need a surface frame (plastic housing). The surface frame is detachable from the antenna wall socket. You always need the front plate so that the end result is neat.
