Multiswitches
If you want to receive satellite channels with more than 8 tuners, you need a multiswitch. You must use quattro LNBs with multiswitch.
The first number in the multiswitch name tells you how many cables from LNBs and terrestrial antenna you can connect to it, and the second number tells you how many tuners you can connect it to. For example a 17/20 DiSEqC switch would allow you connect 4 LNBs (4 cables needed from each of the 4 quattro LNB: 4x4=16) and 1 terrestrial antenna (16+1=17) to 20 tuners.
To be able to operate a 9-17 input multiswitch, you must have a DiSEqC 1.0 compliant DVB receiver and to be able to operate a 33 input multiswitch, you must have a DiSEqC 1.1 compliant DVB receiver. Virtually all new DVB receivers are at least DiSEqC 1.0 compliant.
