Satellite set for apartment houses or bigger buildings.
Almost all you need to get 2 satellites and hence a lot of satellite channels in southern Finland. Possible to receive a lot free satellite channels: dozens of english, german, italian and arabic and smaller quantities of russian, french, spanish, polish and somalian. You can choose which satellites you want. Maximum angle between satellites is 20 degrees. Minimum angle between satellites is 3 degrees. With this satellite set you can receive lots of channels in whole Finland from 0.8W, 5E, 7E, 9E, 13E, 19E, 28E satellites (pick 2 pcs) to name a few. Most popular satellites are 1W Canal Digital, 5E Viasat, 19E Germany and Central Europe, 28E England, 13E Southern Europe and Middle-East. More information about these and other satellites you can find in our Satellite Guide. 8-80 outputs for tuners: you can get signal for 8-80 satellite receivers or 4-40 twin tuner satellite receivers. You can adjust some numbers of the products.
Please choose also a satellite receiver. Receiver has to be Unicable compatible. Check that your receiver supports Unicable. Check also our Unicable compatible receivers. We also offer Canal Digital and Unicable compatible receivers. You need to have a subscription from Canal Digital to receive their channels. You also need their receiver - they do not accept to activate the card without you having their receiver. Whether you actually use it or not.
You need to choose LNB type "Unicable" in your receiver menus. You also need to choose which user band (1-8) each tuner uses. Choose lowest band for the tuner that is furthest away. Close unused lines with dc-block terminator. If you have Vu+ receiver with dual DVB-S2 tuner, you can choose in the menus that signal is looped to second tuner inside the dual tuner. You can then avoid using the splitter.
If you have more than 8 tuners, you need to have multiple Unicable switches: 1 switch per 8 tuners. So 80 tuners would need 10 switches. Switches are cascaded and 8 cables connected from first switch to another switch and so on. Every switch has one unicable connector for 8 tuners. You can split signal in star or line network. You might be able to use current star network cable lines to deliver signal. Check that your current system allows to send DiSEqC command as voltage from receiver to switch and at least 950-2150 MHz frequency area from switch to receiver. For signal distribution, you should choose as many 1-8 splitters as you have Unicable switches.
If you don't have a mast, you should check our mounting products:
