Smit Conax CAM for decrypting for example Canal Digital and PlusTV pay-tv channels.
Conax CAM for decrypting for example Canal Digital (HD+SD, except Golf HD & Viasat HD), terrestrial (non-HD) and cable (non-HD) pay-tv channels in Finland and Conax encrypted non-paired channels in other countries too. This CAM can not be paired. So Canal Digital would not send you a new card for use with this product. But if you have a working Canal Digital card you can use it without pairing. Multiple channels: You can watch and record 8 different pay-tv channel at a same time. This is not possible with normal CAMs. Recommended for all TVs and STBs. Not suitable for CI+ encrypted channels. In Finland terrestrial and cable HD pay-tv channels are CI+ encrypted. For those channels you need a CI+ CAM.
To be able to descramble many channels at the same time, go to your receiver menu and Common Interface (CI) settings and turn on multi channel support.
