Excellent quality Inverto Unicable (one-cable-distribution) Multiswitch for 2 satellites. Check installation diagram below. You can receive satellite signals with up to 8 receivers or tuners. You can even cascade the unicable switches for bigger systems.
Unicable connection: You can loop the receivers (connect them in line) or you can split the signal with compatible splitters (below). Check that your receiver supports Unicable. Check also our Unicable compatible receivers.
You also need 2 quattro LNBs (check below).
You need to choose LNB type "Unicable" in your receiver menus. You also need to choose which user band (1-8) each tuner uses for both satellites. If you have Vu+ receiver with dual DVB-S2 tuner, you can choose in the menus that signal is looped to second tuner inside the dual tuner. You can then avoid using the splitter.
The IDLP-USS2OO-CUO1O-8PP is the smallest form factor Unicable switch. It enables you to receive two satellites and installations with maximum eight Set Top Boxes over a single cable. In addition to its eight User Bands Unicable output, the multiswitch also features two legacy outputs and a terrestrial antenna input. The multiswitch is powered by an external power supply.
The cascadable multiswitch distributes eight satellite IF bands (L/V, L/H, H/V and H/H for two satellites) and Terrestrial VHF/UHF signals. The Unicable and the legacy outputs are combined with the terrestrial signal. The terrestrial input is not amplified. The communication protocol between the multiswitch and the Set Top Boxes connected through the Unicable port is based on the EN 50494 standard for single cable distribution.
For indoor and outdoor installations.
