Affordable and fast HD terrestrial, cable & satellite receiver. Easy to start and search the channels with installation wizard. Easy and clear menus. Receiver is equipped with HD satellite and HD terrestrial tuner and an alphanumeric display. Receiver has a card reader for Conax and Viaccess SD pay-tv channels and Common Interface slot for additional card reader (CAM) to receive HD pay-tv channels. Receiver is CI+ compatible. For HD pay-tv channels you need a separate CI+ card reader (CAM). You can order it above when ordering the receiver.
Recording and timeshift is possible by connecting a USB hard disk drive (check compatible models beside). USB connector on the front and back panels. Timeshift can be chosen as automatic or manually started. We recommend to format HDD as NTFS so that it works more efficiently and doesn't split recordings. You can record 2 channels (SD or HD) and watch a third channel.
When receiver starts, please leave Time mode "Auto" and Time "Satellite". Then the receiver will get correct time from TV channel. Receiver clock is a bit faster than real time but every time you go to a channel that sends time (most channels), receiver time will be corrected.
The front panel of the receiver has a standby switch, two channel selection keys and an eleven-character alphanumeric display in bright green letters for the station name and further information like the program number and the signal quality.
Extremely fast channel scan and blind scan. EPG has single and multi channel views. Live tv viewable on the background while in EPG or menus. You can adjust how transparent the menus are.
You need to choose subtitle language on each of the subtitled channels once. Receiver will remember this setting in the future. You also need to activate subtitles in the menus by choosing "Settings"-"System settings"-"subtitle control" "on".
Wired network connection. If you need wireless network connection, please choose an additional WiFi adapter (check beside or below). Internet functions can be used with a USB keyboard and mouse (check compatible models below).
Conax cards and Viaccess cards work with internal card reader. For pay-tv HD channels you need a separate CI+ CAM.
Streaming works not only within LAN but also over internet. Please note that streaming over internet requires a good upload speed at Cryptobox and good download speed at your viewing device. In case you want to stream over low speed internet connection, we recommend to choose a transcoding receiver. AB Cryptobox 752 can stream only to Android and Apple devices with G-MScreen app and the ports are: 20000 and 20001.

If you want to use WiFi USB stick: Shutdown receiver, plug USB WiFi stick, restart receiver, go to network settings and input your WLAN/WiFi settings.

Antennas

Amplification
Some antennas have built-in amplifiers. Most Televés antennas have intelligent BOSSTech amplifiers that are adjusted atumatically as the signal level changes. You can also find separate amplifiers and power supplies in our webshop.
Antenna signal distribution
You can find our best quality but low-cost antenna cables with connectors or without connectors and separate connectors and adapters.
You can distribute terrestrial antenna signal from one distribution point to all reception points in even level or you can use a main line and taps to get uneven level outputs in different points of the main line. Or you can combine these.
Splitters are used to distribute even level signal from 1 point to all reception points. This is easy and clear. You need a splitter with enough outputs to all reception points.
Taps might be more useful in some situations like long buildings. Taps must be chosen so that first taps get smaller part of the signal so that the main line signal stays strong enough until the end of the main line.
Reception points must have antenna wall sockets that allow you to get each type of antenna signals (terrestrial, satellite and radio) to TVs, DVB receivers and radios.
Combiners allow you to combine different type of antenna signals to 1 cable outside. Then you only need 1 cable to go to the distribution point inside.
Grounding helps to protect your equipment from lightning damages.
Tools
Terrestrial antenna meters allows you to direct your antenna by giving you the signal level coming from the antenna. More advanced models also tell you the signal quality and more detailed channel specific information. Some models even allow you to view TV on the meter screen.

Card readers
If you want to watch pay-tv channels, you also need a separate Antenna HD Ready CI+ CAM for your TV.
DVB receivers
All our terrestrial receivers are compatible with free DVB-T and DVB-T2 TV channels in Finland and in other countries. Some of our terrestrial receivers are also compatible with pay-tv terrestrial channels when a separate Antenna HD Ready CI+ CAM is used. Problem situations
Do you have no idea which cable goes to which room? If you have a lot of cables and don't know which one goes where, you can use a tester.
LTE filter might help if 4G or 5G traffic creates problems for TV channels. Problems might be bigger when there is a lot of 4G or 5G traffic (for example evenings in residential areas).
